News Feeds

What are News Feeds?

News Feed LogoNews Feeds allow you to identify the content you like and have it delivered directly to you. Rather than visiting the website to stay up-to-date, News Feeds will deliver to you the very latest information that you are interested in.

Many popular websites use News Feeds: the BBC, CNN, the New York Times and the Guardian all provide News Feeds.

News Feeds allow you to have all the latest news from an unlimited number of websites delivered to you and viewable within a single page or application.

To use News Feeds, you’ll need a “news reader”, or Aggregator.

Some newsreaders are downloadable applications, and some operate through a web-browser. All allow you to display and subscribe to your chosen RSS feeds.

Here are few options:

Windows
Newz Crawler
FeedDemon
Awasu

Mac OS X
Newsfire
NetNewsWire

Web
Bloglines
My Yahoo!
NewsGator

Once you have installed your chosen news reader, visit a site with the News Feed Logo displayed, and click on the logo to subscribe to the feed.

If your website doesn't do all of these things, you're losing money.
