How our SEO service works
First of all, we’ll have a look at your website and see if any search engine optimisation has been done already, and how much work is involved in getting it up to scratch. We’ll also need from you some suggestions as to the sort of phrase someone might type into a search engine to find your products or services. It is your business after all, you know it better than us.
We’ll then take those suggestions - keyphrases as we call them - and go and do some research. This research includes seeing how often these keyphrases are searched for, how much competition there is and hw good their optimisation is. At this point, we do all this work without payment.
Based on the construction of your website, the competitiveness of your keyphrases and the quality of that competition, we’ll provide a quote for getting your website to an agreed position on the search engine results pages. Once you’re happy with that quote we will proceed with the search engine optimisation work. At this stage we will invoice you only for the research and consultation.
We will record your current rankings and traffic across your website to use as a benchmark.We will give you an indication of the amount of time we believe it will take to achieve your desired rankings. As much of this process depends on things outside of our control - namely the search engines - this is only an estimate.
Once we have achieved your desired rankings we will invoice you for the agreed SEO cost.
For a minimal monthly payment, made by direct debit, we will monitor your website’s performance.
