Woking FC
Woking Football Club wanted a website that could generate much needed revenue for the club as well as keep the fans up-to-date.
"We seemed to be drawn to Woking FC by fate" muses Bruce Hazelton, The Marvellous Media Company's Commercial Director. "A succession of chance meetings led to our tendering for their new website. It soon became apparent that their ambitions outstripped their budget, so we offered to sponsor the club and not only build them a brand new website but committed to maintaining that website for the foreseeable future."
The website was launched at the beginning of the 2008/9 season, packed full of news reports, club information, fixtures and league table. "But we're not resting on our laurels" continues Bruce. "Every week we add something new or refine an existing feature. We want to set the standard for Conference League websites. Then when Woking get promoted we'll have to up our game too!"
