The winners of this year's Webby Awards for web design have been announced.
Established in 1996 to celebrate excellence on the internet, this year's awards saw National Public Radio with seven titles and the New York Times and NBC with six each receive the most accolades overall.
UK organisations honoured with Webby Awards included the BBC, which picked up four awards, and the Guardian, which won two titles.
Other top winners included Next New Networks, PBS, The Onion, Digg, Sundance Channel, YouTube Live and Wired.com.
Commenting on BBC News's official Webby and People's Voice award wins in the best news site category, BBC News website editor Steve Herrmann said: "It's a tribute to the hard work, ingenuity and talent of the editorial, technical, design and support teams who work on the BBC News website."
The Webby Awards are presented every year by the International Academy of Digital Arts and Sciences.
