Adobe offers SEO help to Flash sites

Adobe has launched a new website offering advice and information to those looking to apply search engine optimisation (SEO) tactics to Flash content.
The company's SEO Technology Center aims to help website owners help search engines to better index their rich media content through a series of how-to articles and features.
Adobe announced last year that it was working with Google and Yahoo! to find ways of allowing the search engines to easily crawl and index Flash content without requiring developers to change their web pages.
The new resource provides help on the minor things website owners could do to aid this process.
"Ensuring that search engines can crawl and index your rich internet applications - so that your content can be found by others - is of critical importance to building and maintaining an online presence," Adobe comments.
According to Frank Reed of Marketing Pilgrim, the SEO Technology Center can be seen to be something of an "olive branch" held out by Adobe to SEO executives.
