Conversions 'can be enhanced with the right keywords'

Website visitor conversions can be boosted by choosing the right internet marketing keywords, Yahoo! has advised.
In its Smart Start guide for marketers, the search engine recommends the use of branded or model-specific keywords to help convert those who are ready to make an online purchase.
Yahoo! suggested that marketers conduct research on their own website so find out which keywords would be best, as well as look at their rivals' sites for ideas.
Marketers needing to save money on their internet marketing efforts may do well to only bid for niche keywords based on their most profitable items, the company said.
Yahoo! commented: "To increase your chances of clicks leading to sales, it's better to bid on more specific or niche keywords. This can slow your spending and potentially improve your results."
